Daniel Foy Obituary

Daniel "Danny" V. Foy, age 74, passed away June 19, 2006 in San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel A. & Agnes Foy. Danny is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Foy; children, Gregory Foy & wife Keri, Frank Foy & wife, Yol 5/8, Cynthia Buck & husband Paul and Jack Foy; 9 grandchildren, Shane, Sarah, Keith, Julie, Derek, Wendy, Austin, Bob and Shawn; 2 step great grandchildren and stepmother, Ursula Foy. Danny retired after 56 years as an Iron Worker - Local #66 and taught Apprentice School. He owned Astro Auto Salvage & Foy's Wrecker Service. He was a 32 Degree Mason and Assistant St. Director of the Texas Good Sam Chapters. He was a member of the "Go Lucky Sams" and "Don't Givadam Sams." He was also one of the organizers of the Poor Boys Hot Rod Club in the 1950's. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be 9 a.m., Thursday, June 22, 2006 at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Boysville of San Antonio. Sunset Funeral Home.
