David Cortez Obituary

David Cortez, born on February 15, 1969 in San Antonio, Texas entered into rest on July 11, 2006 at the age of 37 years. David was an employee at the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, Texas. He is survived by his parents, Andres C. and Beatrice G. Cortez; sisters, Patricia C. Flores and husband Daniel, Mary Elizabeth Garcia and husband Steve, and Victoria Cortez; brother, Andres Cortez Jr. and wife Ana Maria; niece and nephews, Raquel Garcia, Gregory Garcia, Jacob Garcia, Matthew Flores, Malachi A. Moreno, Diego Andres Cortez. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 5:00 at Alamo Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Alamo Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be offered on Friday, July 14, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Children's Fund, P.O. Box 26484, Richmond, VA, 23261 or the San Antonio AIDS Foundation. Arrangements are with: Alamo Funeral Home.
