David Alan Manny, a loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully in his home in San Antonio, TX on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the age of 72. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dayle Manny; daughter, Melissa; son, Mark; three grandchildren, Payton, Jane Frances, John David; brother, Max; and brother-in-law, Mike DeHart. David was born on February 13, 1949 in San Antonio, TX. His parents were Frank Hermann and Jane Emily Manny. David attended Highlands High School where he played football. After graduation, he attended The University of Texas where he earned a Bachelor's and Master's Degree. David's 30+ year career span was spent as a Management Analyst for the Civil Services at Ft Sam Houston, Kelly AFB, and Randolph AFB. David loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed coaching and spending time with his grandkids. He loved UT football, was always willing to lend a helping hand to others in need, enjoyed taking long road trips with his wife, and watched FOX News every evening and was an active member at Concordia Lutheran Church. David really took pride in taking care of his family and he will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
