David Molak Obituary
David Bartlett Molak, aged 16, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016 in his hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Born to parents Matt and Maurine, David had recently achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 809. Among David's passions were hunting, fishing, and playing video games with his older brothers, Cliff and Chris. He was extremely knowledgeable about professional football and could lead any fantasy association to success. David never passed up on an opportunity for an outdoor adventure or a chance to dominate his family in Monopoly. His infectious smile and sharp wit entertained his peers to the dismay of his teachers, but all in good fun.
This beautiful brown eyed boy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Michael Molak and Renee Johnson. David survives forever through his two older brothers who miss him more than anything in the world. David is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Mike and Corrisue Sweeney, his paternal grandparents Dr. Robert and Frances Johnson, his aunt Shelly Sweeney; his uncles Michael Molak and his wife Janet and Marc Molak and his wife Kelly, his cousins Max, Sophie, Luke, Colten and Jack Molak as well as numerous other family and close friends. Also surviving through David is his devoted friend, Jacqueline Welsh, who was able to gift him with true love even at such a young age.
The family would like to express its deep appreciation for the comfort and hospitality of Warren and Missy Branch during our darkest hours.

I'm experiencing loss right now and came across David's story when planning my Gram's memorial service. His life has a deep meaning and he is touching people even now. The death of your precious son and brother, David, weighs heavily on my heart. I have tried to put it out of my mind, but it keeps finding its way back to me. I wish I could be one of those people who haven't experienced any such thing as this and don't know exactly how you feel; those who offer condolences and wish you the best, those that can only send prayers. But I have been through this, in a different way, with the same ending, and I can say I know exactly how you feel; that prayers and condolences aren't nearly enough, that all the words that have been said don't make it better, that in the coming process it's just you and your beliefs and your inner strength that will get you through this. You will get through this, and past this, and you will even experience a nirvana of sorts. Stay with that positive feeling, breathe in and breathe out, and you will see miracles every day. There are angels everywhere who are just waiting to swoop in, land, and fly you anywhere you need to go.
