Dawn Moore Obituary

Dawn Renae Moore
May 17, 1957 - July 27, 2025
Dawn Renae Moore, 68, of San Antonio, passed away from a heart attack July 27, 2025.
Dawn was born in Duluth MN, May 17, 1957. After a few years abroad, she and her family moved to Universal City, TX/RAFB. She graduated from Samuel Clemens HS in 1975 and earned a magna cum laude degree in political science from the University of Texas San Antonio.
Dawn met and married the love of her life Mark Dufresne in Dallas, TX. They moved to Raleigh, NC, where they lived happily until Mark passed away in 2017. Dawn returned to San Antonio to help care for her mom.
Dawn loved travel, books, UNC basketball and the Spurs, though perhaps not in that order. She loved her family and friends.
Dawn's father Don predeceased her. She is survived by her mother Hazel, brother Brian, sister Pam, nephews Nigel and Alex and friends too numerous to list.
As soon as they become available details regarding services will be added to her obituary at the Porter Loring Mortuary website. Scroll to recent obituaries.
