Deborah Zengerle
August 18, 1943 - November 11, 2024
Deborah Ann Ewing Zengerle, age 81 of Seguin, passed away on November 11,2024. Deborah was born in Dallas Texas, on August 18,1943, to Ava Theone (Garoutte) and Benny D Ewing.
Deborah is preceded in death by her parents, sister Mary Ann Butler, brother Ned Ewing.
Survivors include her husband Monta Zengerle who had a wonderful 60 years of marriage; son Eric Zengerle and wife Rose Mary; son Jason Zengerle; grandchildren, Amanda Morlocke and husband Max, Elizabeth and husband Zach, Ashley Kniffin and husband Cale, Megan, Shelby; great grandchildren Elizabeth, Maggie, Zoie, Theodore.
Community activities Deborah was on the committee that founded Hospice of Guadalupe Valley, President of Hospice Board, 1st Hospice volunteer, president of Methodist Women Seguin. She enjoyed greeting and visiting people, painting and sketching, walking her dogs Ginger and Emmy Lou. Volunteered at Lazy Daisy Garden Club and Seguin Art League.
Deborah and Monta enjoyed raising a family and traveling the world.
Memorial service celebrating Deborah's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday November 16th 2024 at La Trinidad United Methodist Church Seguin with Pastor Ron Welborn officiating with a reception after.
Memorial contributions may be made to Seguin Art League or Women's Groups at La Trinidad and Wesley Harper.
