Delfina Duncan Davila

Delfina Duncan Davila, born in Moore, TX. on August 26, 1911 to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Duncan, passed on to Heaven at 7:07 A.M. on Monday, December 2, 2002 at the age of 91 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Mr. Jose (Joe) Davila. Mrs. Davila was also preceded in death by two daughters, Lupe and Patricia Ann. Mrs. Davila is survived by sons, Joe and Dave and daughter, Theresa; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews will also miss her. Our mother and grandmother is very special to us, and we would like to take the opportunity to thank those individuals at Vitas Hospice Care for their thoughtfulness. Thank you, to all the ladies (you know who you are) who made Granma's transition a special one. We love you and will never forget you. We thank you Lord for loaning us "Fina" (as she was called) for 91 years. We had someone that experienced many things. We all learned also from her, and Lord we thank you for her sense of humor and for her smile. She was a good daughter, a good wife and a good mother. We thank you that she is in Heaven with you. We will miss her very much, but we know she is hurting no more. We love you Mom. We love you Granma. SERVICES Visitation will begin at 4:30 P.M., December 4, 2002 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels.
