I was just thinking about Donna today. I remember how she always encouraged others to be the very best they could be and championed excellence. Such a kind, compassionate person with a wonderful sense of humor sprinkled with a bit of mischief. God bless her family, sweet hubby Robert and all her countless friends.

Though I never got a chance to meet this lovely lady, through her husband (my chef/instructor)when he spoke of her she came to life right in my presence which leads me to believe that she was a very special person in her own right. My prayers are with Chef Robert and all that love and will miss her.

My fellow redhead, I continue to think often of the many times we had together. The laughter and sweet memories will never fade. You are such a beautiful spirit and will continue to be in my thoughts. I love you Donna. Robert, may God bless you over and over during this difficult time. I lost my brother just over a year ago to cancer and this verse is something I look at everyday. I hope it is a blessing to you and to your families to know that we and Donna have peace if we seek it.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

She kindled my love of theatre and showed me what I could accomplish. And she did that by being firm, but loving, understanding, and kind. Donna was one of those teachers that people always remember and use as an example of how one person can influence the life of another. Rest in peace.

I echo other sentiments written here about my beloved and dear friend, Donna. Force of nature? Yes, oh yes, she was. Fiery, feisty, and fearless: I love those words. And they personify Donna. She loved me like few friends ever have and I will miss her in ways I can't even describe. I was blessed to spend time with her, although not near enough, in these last weeks and months. It's true that the world will never be the same. But Donna remains in my heart. And you, sweet Robert, you are in my heart, too.

Donna was a force of nature...smart, kind, talented, funny and one of the best friends I ever had. I will always remember what a joy it was to sing with her and to watch her in front of an audience. My heart goes out to Robert and to Donna's family...she is irreplaceable.

From the Redhead at Opryland's "Cantina" to the Wonderful Warrier of recent months, what a Spirit, and what a Joy to have known you. You will always be "Hello Dolly" to me. Psalm 103:15-18.

The world is a much duller place now that the fiery redhead is no longer in it. I will miss her.

and also have an intimate look into your earlier years through a picture album. Rest in Peace.
