Ella Mae English

Ella Mae English, who celebrated her 84th birthday with family and friends on October 16, 2002 died October 21, 2002 after a lengthy illness. Her children, Robert English and Dr. Pamela Stanton and her grandson, Matthew Stanton, all of San Antonio, survive her. Her sisters, Dorothy Holman of Florida and Roberta Auwarter of North Carolina, also survive her. Her husband, Dr. Arthur English of Old Lyme, CT preceded her in death. A Memorial Service will be held at the Old Lyme Congregational Church on November 2, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ella Mae English Memorial Fund, Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library, 2 Library Lane, Old Lyme, CT 06371.
