MENGER
Estelle Catherine Menger, last surviving of 4 sisters and 1 brother, was born to Edwin J. & Mary Menger on June 10, 1919. She was lifetime resident of San Antonio, TX and passed away on February 19, 2010. She resided, during her lifetime, in the family home on Government Hill. During the last three years, she resided at the Regent Care Center. She was lifetime member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Her mother, Mary C. Menger, was the great-granddaughter of the founder of the Menger Hotel. Estelle never married. She enjoyed gardening and reading. For many years she was in retail sales at Wolff & Marks, Terry Juniors, and the Smart Shop. Estelle is survived by the following nieces & nephews and their families, including: E.J. Keneson, Claude Menger, Catherine DeRocher, Eddie Menger, Carol Risz and Donna Martin. A rosary will be recited at Sunset Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando #2 Catholic Cemetery.
