Ethan Torres Obituary

Ethan Alexander Torres was an Angel sent to us on June 13, 2003. On October 22, 2004 Ethan was called to be with our Lord. Ethan's name means "Tower of Great Strength" and throughout his infant life he demonstrated to all of us the courage, strength, spirit and love that could only be God sent. He touched each and every one of our lives and offered to us a world of spiritual fulfillment, love and happiness. Ethan was a true reflection of God. Through Ethan we all found our faith in God, ourselves and our fellow man restored. Ethan is survived by his parents, Patricia and Edwin Torres; siblings, Lauren, Lexie and Edwin; paternal grandmother, Rachel T. Rodriguez; maternal grandparents, Irma and Rudy Gonzalez; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Julia and Dan Rodriguez; maternal great-grandparents, Vivian and Doroteo Ramirez and paternal great-uncle, Rumaldo T. Rodriguez. Not a day will go by that we won't miss you, love you and think of you. You will always be in our hearts, our every thought, and most of all, you will very much be a part of our daily lives. Ethan, may you rest in peace with Jesus. To his team of physicians, his entire medical staff at Methodist Children's Hospital and his home-care providers, we extend our sincerest gratitude for the special care and love you gave our Ethan. To our St. Luke's Community, we also extend our deepest love and appreciation for all of your loving support and generosity. Funeral Mass: 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at St. Luke's Catholic Church with Rev. Mike Horan celebrant. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ethan Alexander Torres Trust in care of Frost Bank. Sunset Northwest Funeral Home.
