Dear Jeanne, Robert and family, I have good memories of Dr Derricotte flying me around in his private Bonaza twin engine in SanAntonio maybe 1973 when I was in 3rd grade and he was stationed at Lackland with my Dad. I also remember Hiking on the US Airce Academy when He was stationed there and we were visiting. Robert and I made paper airplanes from a paper airplane book. Jeanne and Mom were dear friends and loved discussing art. Great family friends! He will be missed! I´m in San Antonio now! Let´s visit! I love you guys !

To the family - I am so honored to even have the opportunity to send a note of condolences to you. Although I did not know him, I had known about some of the history behind his flight detail. He was a brave man and I´m certain you are all so ever proud to be a part of his life. What a wonderful hero he was. God bless you all -
