Felice S. Vasquez

Felice S. Vasquez, at the age of 60 joined our heavenly Father on April 9, 2006. Preceded in death by her son Richard who was awaiting for her in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, Richard Vasquez of 40 years and her devoted son, Jude Vasquez. Mother, Timotea Solis; sister, Isabel Limon (Jimmy), Sylvia Sandoval (Joe- deceased); nieces, Gina, Sylvia Jean, Vanessa, Alexandra, and her two great nieces, Gabrielle and Layla, who brought her much joy; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Felice was the founder of the group 'Matachines' of St. Timothy's in which she was a parishioner for 51 years. She was also a member of Las Hijas de Maria, La Vela. She was a member of the Westside Acts Coalition and a Religious Education teacher. Felice was a member of COPS and retired from Inman Christian Center. Felice touched many lives with her love, brought much joy with her radiant smile and wisdom with her wonderful words and of course who can forget her talent of telling jokes. Visitation will begin 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2006 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. A Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 1515 Saltillo St. Procession will depart 9:30 am Wednesday, April 12, 2006 for a 10:00 am Mass at St. Timothy's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando No.2. Services are under the direction of Trevino Cupples Funeral Home.
