It has been a pleasure and a blessing to have known such a wonderful human being like Miss Felipa Wimpy Pena for almost 14 years. She is part of the history at San Fernando Cathedral and the San Antonio community. She never tired of talking to people and making friends. She was a humble woman, a strong woman of faith and love for everyone. May she rest in peace.

Wimpy was a wonderful woman ,,,,, I will always remember her stories and how she would walk with us to the bus or we would go and have a taco with her at panchitos, or just sit and talk as we all waited for our buses to come , Her endless love for God and all the people there was one that I cherished much,,,,I am saddened by her passing as is my mother Rose Campos, my son Samuel Cardenas who has been an usher at the 2pm mass since he was three years old on sundays helping his uncles, my brother Kris Campos and Vincent Campos, ... She always had some funny stories to tell us and made us smile and laugh,,,I will miss her very much,,, especially the story she loved to tell me over and over about the tree that fell at her house and how much trouble she had with it.... but I never told her I had heard it before because I was just pleased to hear her tell me the story again... now allI I have is the memory of her telling me the story I would have loved to have heard it even one more time..................

My deepest condolences to my Great Aunt Lucy. My heart is saddened to know that Great Aunt Wimpy has passed away, yet I can't help but think of her with a smile. The same smile that she shared with me and anybody she ever came into contact with. Now God will be wearing that great smile as he welcomes Wimpy into Heaven. With much Love

I had the plasure of knowing"whimpy" when I was an Hija de Maria" at San Fernando Cathedral in the 70's. She was always a wonderful and kind person who was always friendly and eagar to help! She always had a kind word and smile on her face and a friend to everyone. She was part of San Fernando and you always looked forward to seeing her there.
May she rest in peace, she is now in Heaven tending to the biggest church, God's Cathedral!
