I would like to express my sincere condolences to the Frank D. Navarro III families. I was a childhood friend with Frank when we attended St. John Berchman's Catholic school when it was located on Harriman St. He graduated from their and went on to Central Catholic while I went on to attend Incarnate Word the following year. I especially remember him because when Central would have their yearly Military Ball, Frank would always ask me to go with him. I was pretty shy about going but I believe my parents and Franks' parents would call and make the arrangements. My mother would make me the prettiest formals for these occasions. The reason I say this in plural form is because every year Frank would ask me to go with him. I was really surprised to be asked to attend with him every year. He would always ask what color of formal I was wearing and he would get me the most beautiful large orchid ever seen. Every year I would receive this beautiful huge orchid. One year the orchid was Black with a white background and everyone at the ball were just amazed at how beautiful it was. From that night on and still today, my favorite flower is the huge Orchid. I could go on and on about Frank but I just had to mention all of this to whomever would be reading it. I want to say that Frank was a perfect gentleman! To his parents, you raised a wonderful and respectful man. My parents loved him. To his wife, I know he made you a good husband and to his children and grandchildren he must have been a wonderful dad and grandpa. I will forever cherish these memories of friendship! Rest in peace Frank and know that I really appreciated your sincere invitations to the Ball every year!

My Dearest Primo, I cherish the memories when we were young, especially the times at Tio Pancho's house and your Mom and Dads house when Nina, Nino and our cousins would come into town. The spaghetti dinners that Uncle Roy would make for us. The highlight being watching the movies Uncle Roy had filmed on his reel-to-reel recorder, in the backyard on a white sheet on the side of the house. I regret us not being closer after my Daddy passed away, but all the Navarro's and family are in my heart as you will be. Now, you are with our family, my brother and our primo Pete. Rest in Peace. My deepest condolences to the family. May God Bless You all. Much Love.

Uncle Frankie, you will be missed dearly! I will never forget the infectious laughter you brought into a room, yelling at the T.V. when the Spurs were down, numerous BBQ's at grandmas, your passion for writing and politics and of course listening to Latin Jazz. Thank you for all the good times and the life long memories!
