My dear Newman family. . .I was so saddened to learn of your loss and remember fondly Frank's thoughtfulness of others. I always received a Christmas letter from him as he shared family news and travels. Frank was one of a kind. His cheerfulness was etched upon my heart early in my 'Tute career as we shared wonderful conservations. So, for Frank's final journey, 'the souls of the just are in the hands of God and no torment shall touch them,' Wisdom 3:1. A fitting verse for Frank as he was filled with wisdom and I'm blessed he touched my life. May the perpetual light always shine upon him.

Met Mr. Newman through Beverly his full-time caregiver. I remember when he used to walk around so fast and sit for a bit then get up again. Mr. Newman was a very sweet man. My condolences to His family and Beverly.

My sincere condolences to Frank's family. Frank hired me at the Army Lab and mentored me until he retired. He worked with me while I went back to school to get my engineering degree. We worked on many special projects and while I was a technician, he gave me a chance at running my "own" project A client came in with $500 and wanted to make "synthetic" dirt for the racehorse industry. We ended up laying our final product at the Lazy E track in OK. It's a project I'll never forget.

Having had the privilege of working with Frank, I offer sincere condolences for your loss. Frank always had a fresh perspective to add to a project - and we had many of them in the "Army Lab". At one point, it seemed like the Army wanted to run its equipment on anything the was liquid and would burn. Frank had to not only devise ways to analyze those not-very-fuel-like substances, but also find ways to quantify their engine exhaust gases. Frank was a gentleman through it all and will be missed. This is sent with my kind regards, Dr. J. Erwin

Bob, I will always remember this tall man looking happy and content, walking his halls of FPAH, as he could, with a caregiver exchanging greetings as they walked by. And you, offering assistance and good faith answers and questions during Family Council meetings. Today I'm offering my condolences to you and Nancy.
