Gerald Steadman Obituary

STEADMAN
Gerald (Jerry) I. Steadman of Spring Branch, Texas passed away at the age of 75 on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Brooke Army Medical Center. He was born on September 29, 1936 in Eola, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Dee Steadman, children Gina Steadman, Andrea Hebert and her husband Richard, grandchildren Cameron Steadman, Channing Jordan, Shelby and Clay Hebert, sisters Doris Steadman and Jo Lewis, and many relatives and close friends. His greatest joy was his faith in Jesus Christ and the love of his family. Jerry, as most knew him, was loving, generous, kind, and funny. All those who were blessed enough to know him loved him dearly. Jerry served in the Air Force and for 29 years he owned Specialty Alarms and Systems, Inc. Memorial service will be held, Monday, March 19, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Hillside Fellowship Church, 7055 Hwy. 281 N., Spring Branch, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fischer House Program for Families of Wounded Soldiers (Brooke Army Medical Center - San Antonio Military Medical Center), Hillside Fellowship Church, or the Salvation Army.

Jerry was a wonderful person and it saddens me greatly to hear of his passing. A better person would be hard to find and I will miss my visits with Dee and him.
