Gilbert Valdemar Obituary
Gilbert Valdemar was called home by the Lord on May 3, 2009, at the age of 76. He was born on December 20, 1932, in San Antonio, Texas. He is loved and will be missed by his loving wife, Dora P. Valdemar; children, Sylvia (Martha) Valdemar, Joe Anthony Valdemar and George (Virginia) Valdemar; grandchildren, Erika, Nicholas, Jessica C. and Marc Anthony Valdemar; great-granddaughter, Kylee-Rae Valdemar; brother, Manuel (Ernestina) Ramirez; aunt, Rosie Sifuentes; and numerous other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2009, and from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2009, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2009, for a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Berchman's Catholic Church, 1147 Cupples Road. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II. Services under the

Dad - not one day has passed that I don't think about the memories that I have of being your son and you being my father. Your first priority was always making sure that we were safe. May God continue to bless you and our family. Love your Son George.
