Coach Hill was an amazing man. His wisdom and humor always brightened any discussion with him. God has reunited Glenn with Millie. The positive impact that he had on his family, friends, and community will forever be appreciated. May the Lord continue to bless his family.

I have many great memories of Glenn and Millie. The last time I saw Glenn he was teasing me about my first pair of high heels. Apparently I had come strutting into church telling everyone. I have no idea of how he remembered that, I didn´t. . The only I would add is Glenn´s love of God. Sending my prayers to Larry and Glenn Jr, and their families.
Love,

Papa Hill as he was known to us who looked up to him at East Central, was as fine a man as they come. I was privileged to spend many after hours "court sessions" with him and Reggie and the boys. He had endless great stories about his coaching days ,and an engaging laugh the kept us all in stitches. He was also a great source of advice and support and I will always remember feeling like I belonged whenever I was with him. He was like a second dad to many, thus the nickname Papa Hill. He was a coach at heart and dearly loved to talk foottball. More than anything, he loved his family, Millie, Glen and Larry. I used to stand with him at the field when Larry was playing or Glen or Larry was coaching. The big guy would get so nervous watching his boys, he would inevitably get sick off to the side ... aimost like clockwork. He did a pretty good job teaching You two guys as your long tenure as outstanding coaches in Texas has been well established. I know of no father more proud the Glen Hill. I am so sad to hear of his passing, and will be out of town for his service. But I wanted Glen, Larry and all the family to know that he holds a special place in my heart as one of the truly great men I have had the honor of knowing . He was a dear friend who will be sorely and forever missed. Prayers and thoughts for the family. Tripp
