Gomecindo Santivanez Obituary
Gomecindo (Tino) R. Santivanez Jr., born March 3, 1950 passed away on January 10, 2011 has gone to be with the Lord. Gomecindo is survived by his daughter Monica Santivanez; grandchildren Christopher & Monica; brothers: Jesse, Jimmy, Santivanez, Sylvester & Edward Herrera; sisters: Diane Gomez, Mary Ann, Yvonne Herrera, numerous nephews: David Gomez, Rene & James Santivanez, nieces: Rebecca, Cindy & Mia, other relatives and friends. In respect to Mr. Gomecindo R. Santivanez Jr. requested no funeral services. Tino last words were he was going to a better place.

Dad, its been a month today it seem like yesterday you were here, i can not except the fact that your not here anylonger. I really miss you and i love you so much. I knw you were suffering and i did my best for you even thought you were a stubborn man. you always cared about everyone eles doing and put yours aside always. I knw i was good to you and have no regrets of having you with me i remember you would always tell me that YOUR PLACE WAS TO BE WITH THE KIDS AND ME NO WHERE ELES! I hope you are looking over me everyday as there is not one day that you dont cross my mind. plz dont stop talking to me as i see you in my dreams... I LOVE U.. MONA

Uncle Tino ("Fuzzy") - While it is hard to accept that you are gone from this earth, we all know that you are in a better place. I'm sure happiness abounds, as you've joined your brothers Otis & Joe in heaven now. We miss your presence here, but know that you are looking down and continue to watch over us in our lives.

To my dear brother-in-law. Seeing your picture before me reminds me of the good times that Otis and I, and Jamie and Rebecca had with you. Im going to miss you dearly uncle tino. I can't believe your not here, Im very heartbroken because I have to except that your in a better place and you will be taking care of. It's hard to just let go.
You were such a loving and caring person. You always were there for me and my brothers and sisters no matter what. You loved us as if we were your kids. You will be greatly missed. I'll never forget you. I love you forever, and I can't wait to one day see you again... thank you for all the times I got to spend with you. I will cherish them in my heart forever.

GOD LOOKED AROUND HIS GARDEN AND FOUND AN EMPTY PLACE. HE THEN LOOKED DOWN UPON HIS EARTH AND SAW YOUR LOVING FACE. HE PUT HIS ARMS AROUND YOU AND LIFTED YOU THE REST.HIS GARDEN MUST BE BEAUTIFUL, HE ALWAYS TAKES THE BEST. HE KNOW THAT YOU WERE SUFFERING, HE KNEW YOU WERE IN PAIN. AND KNEW THAT YOU WOULD NEVER GET WELL ON EARTH AGAIN. HE SAW YOUR PATH WAS DIFFICULT, HE CLOSED YOUR TIRED EYES, HE WISPERED TO YOU "PEACE BE THINE" AND GAVE YOU WINGS TO FLY. WHEN WE SAW YOU SLEEPING SO CALM AND FREE OF PAIN, WE WOULD NOT WISH YOU BACK TO EARTHTO SUFFER ONCE AGAIN. YOU-VE LEFT US PRECIOUS MEMORIES YOUR LOVE WILL BE GUIDE, YOU LIKE ON THROUGH YOUR CHILDREN, YOU'RE ALWAYS BY OUR SIDE. IT BROKE OUR HEARTS TO LOSE YOU, BUT YOU DID NOT GO ALONE. My prayers go out the Tino's family. Tino is my son's (Ej Sotello) Godfather and I have to say that I could not have picked a more wonderful man than Tino. Tino was such a loving & caring man, his face and heart were always filled with such a big smile. Tino u will be sorely missed in more ways than one. We love you Tino!!!
