Graham McNair Obituary

Graham Michael McNair
June 28, 1993 - February 26, 2025
Surrounded by his family, Graham Michael McNair, age 31, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. The suffering has ended, and he is now in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born in Atlanta, Ga., Graham moved with his family to San Antonio in 1999. He attended Holy Spirit Catholic School and participated in school sports as well as the CYO program. Graham went to Central Catholic High School, where he was a member of the Chaminade Guard Drill Team. He attended Texas A&M University, eventually graduating from Auburn University with a degree in marketing.

After a brief stint in the catering business, as well as being quite good at selling Cutco knives, he worked for a local homebuilder and had a very successful career as a sales consultant. In January 2024. he joined his dad and brother at McNair Custom Homes as sales manager. In early 2021, Graham met the love of his life, Aranda. Two months later, he was diagnosed with incurable brain cancer. Graham loved his life with Aranda, and their three dogs, Minda, Daisy, and Rico. Graham and Aranda were married on April 26,2024. He loved to hunt deer and turkey on the family ranch in Uvalde, harvesting both game animals with a bow and arrow. He was an accomplished wing shooter. Cooking, either in the kitchen or on the Big Green Egg, was one of his passions. He also enjoyed mountain biking and going to concerts with Aranda.

In June of 2024, Graham had a second brain surgery. Despite the best efforts of MD Anderson in Houston, The Start Center in San Antonio, and the Mays Center at MD Anderson in San Antonio, the cancer continued to spread. Throughout the entire illness, he fought the good fight, always positive, never complaining, constantly flashing his infectious smile. As his health deteriorated, Aranda was constantly with him as his chauffeur. cook, and nurse, as well as being a wonderful wife.

Graham was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene & Sherry McNair from Brownsville, TX. Graham is survived by his grandparents, Art and Maureen Mosher, from Lakeland, Fla.; his parents, John and Debbie; his brother and sister, Jack and Vivian; as well and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
