Harold was my friend since 7TH grade and through high school. We had reconnected this past year and became friends again. I knew he was in pain and it saddens me for what has happen. I miss him, I wish he would have called, he left alot of caring friends behind. May God Bless him and his family amd my family will continue to pray for him.

Harold and I were neighbors for 10 plus years. This has been a very sad two weeks for me. Harold helped me with so many car issues and etc. Over the past year we had grown very close. Countless conversations with Harold revealed how much he loved his family and how difficult life can be. Harold's tragic death reminds me once again that everything we say and do can have a profound effect on people. I will always remember Harold as a gentleman, I miss his gentle smile and kindness.
God bless,
Patti Birdwell

Harold was like a son to my husband, Dave Kohlmyer. We spent some really fun times with him. I talked several times with Harold late in 2008. He loved Dave and found comfort talking with me. I will miss those calls. Mrs Ripper, my deepest sympathy goes out to you. I know Harold is with Dave and they are enjoying being together again.

It is very sad that a life would have to end this way. We will never know all the reasons for what has happened or understand them.
I pray that God would help his children and parents through this hard time and give them the strength they need in this time of sorrow.

Harold worked with my father, Dave Kohlmyer at Gunn Oldsmobile. My Dad thought the world of Harold. They had a very special friendship. I always knew about Harold through my Dad's stories. Harold holds a warm spot in our hearts. He was so kind when my Dad passed a few years ago. I can only feel that Harold and Dad are together now talking about cars and solving the problems of the world! I wish you all peace in your heart with your loving memories of Harold.
