Harry Klein Obituary

KLEIN
Harry Paul Klein courageously lost his battle to cancer on Sunday, November 20th, 2011. He died peacefully, surrounded by his family. Born on March 26, 1929 in Mount Clemons, MI, he joined the Air Force at the age of 17 and served until he retired from Randolph Air Force Base in 1969. He raised his family in San Antonio, served in the Knights of Columbus at St. Vincent DePaul, and continued as an aircraft mechanic at Stinson Municipal Airport before receiving his Bachelors of Occupational Education in 1981. He followed other career interests until he retired in 1991. In retirement, he pursued another passion of his, driving across the country to visit family and friends. He will be remembered by many in the community as a selfless, reliable servant that was eager, willing and happy to help all in need with sincerity of heart.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Consuelo T. Klein, parents, Harold and Cecilia Klein, sisters, Jane Klein and Loretta Arsena, and brothers, Don and Gordon Klein. He is mourned by his daughters, Lilia A. Perryman from Decatur, IL, Loretta J. Stubleski from Ann Arbor, MI and Lorraine R. Deihl from San Antonio, and their families including four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sister, June Keith from Tucson, AZ and brother, Bernard Klein, from Alexandria, LA.
Visitation will be held at the Castle Ridge Mortuary, 8008 W. Military Dr., on November 29th from 4:00-9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 4222 SW Loop 410, on November 30th at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:45 am.
