Helen Ess Obituary
Helen Delores Ess born September 16, 1929 entered the Gates of Heaven on September 3, 2010 to be with her loving husband, Richard. She is survived by her three daughters, Susan Addis and husband Michael of San Antonio, Texas, Nancy Corns and husband Howard "Kai", of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Karen Swisher of Sugar Land, Texas. Helen is also survived by three grandchildren, Sean, Tara and Erik, and one great grandchild, Jaden. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in Helen's name to your local Humane Society for the cats.

Dear family, We were so sad to hear of you great loss. However, the bible tells us, "to be absent from the body, is to be present with our Lord." Aunt Helen, my memories of you have always kept you ageless in my mind, and now, so truly have you become. I strongly suspect my love of cats comes at least a little from you!
