Henry Urenda Obituary
Henry John Urenda was called to his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 14. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 16, 1979. He leaves behind his wife Monica Quiroz Urenda and their three sons, Jordan, Jakob and Joshua Reyes. He is survived by his parents, Nanette and Jim Tondre, Henry and Nancy Urenda, mother-in-law Pauline Quiroz and grandmother, Gloria Salinas.
Henry was blessed to have loving siblings Rachel Martinez, her husband Victor, niece Mia, his brother Timothy Urenda and Hollie Garcia, Valerie and Emiro Ruiz, Victor and Tina Rocha, Jackie and John Gamez, Chris and Shiela Tondre.
Family, Doug Flores (Wendy), Anna Postelle, Carlos Salinas (Mae). Cousins Jennifer January (Randy), Adam Flores, James Postelle (Dagmara), Ashleigh LaCour (Adrian), Cody Postelle (Terra), and numerous others.
The family wishes to sincerely thank all of Henry's close friends. He truly considered them his brothers and sisters in life. The outpouring of sympathy and remembrance has carried our family throughout this week.
None of us could forget his infectious laugh or amazing smile. Henry John, you are in heaven now watching over us. You were a great son, husband, father, brother, uncle, godfather, coach, nephew, cousin, and friend. Until we meet again, God keep you in His care. We love and miss you! Your family and friends.
SERVICES
Family will receive friends from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with an opening prayer at 6:00 p.m., Monday, April 20, 2015 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge, San Antonio, TX. 78230. The funeral is Tuesday, April 21, 10:00 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 6914 Wurzbach Rd. San Antonio, TX. 78240 with the Rev. Christopher M. Kennedy officiating. Burial to follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237. You may sign the online guestbook at www.missionparks.com

My condolences to the family. I was blessed to have met EJ in high school. He was truly a one of a kind guy. I had the honor of being his friend & was so lucky to have shared great memories with him.
