Hortensia G. Ramirez, 78, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021.
Hortensia was born in Mexico on November 11, 1942 to Guadalupe Guzman and Paula Valdez. Mrs. Ramirez was always up for dancing and singing along with watching her Spanish soap opera. She worked as a janitorial for UTSA for many years. Hortensia's passions were for dancing and singing along with watching her Spanish soap opera.
She is preceded by death by her son, Robert Ramirez and Raul Ramirez; mother, Paula Valdez.
She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Juan A. Vallejo; children, Luis R. Ramirez, Gabriela Ramirez, Maria M. Nassiff, Martha Ramirez Duron and Alfonso Ramirez; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Family will be receiving guest for a visitation on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237. A rosary will be held at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday September 24, 2021 at 10:00 at Trevino Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237.
