Isabel Retiz Obituary
Isabel was born in Luling, Texas on February 11, 1952, to Leocadia and Natividad Retiz. She was best known for her incomparable baking and cooking skills, her passion for Tejano music, and her weekend yard sale and flea market visits. Isabel's most adored and treasured moments were those she spent surrounded by family and friends-precious memories that will be forever cherished.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Leocadia Retiz, and brother, David Retiz.
She is survived by her children: Bobby Aguilar (Cherise), Leroy Aguilar (Claudia), Oscar Aguilar (Nedy) and Richard Brian Martinez; grandchildren: Genesis R. Aguilar, Megan Aguilar, Brian Isaiah Martinez, and Isaac Nathaniel Martinez; father Natividad Retiz; siblings: Margie Diaz, Sally Retiz, and Rey Retiz; life-long friend, Andrew V. Neria; and the countless friends and numerous relatives who have known her love throughout the years.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday. November 7, 2022, at Castillo Funeral Home.
Visitation begins at 9:00 am followed by a chapel service at 12:00 pm with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi Marian.
