JORDAN
Jacob William Hild Jordan of Seguin, Texas was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 13, 2001 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 15, 2010 at the age of eight years. Jacob is survived by his Mother, Kimberley Jordan; Mother, Denise Hild; Brother, Zackary Jordan; grandparents, Jack and Linda Jordan; great-grandmother, Alree Hannah; Aunts & Uncles, Herbert, III and Sharon Hild, Jeannette and Darryl Hild, Debbie and George Betancourt, Jeff Emerson and Rev. Barbara Beale; God parents, Vicente and Beth Juan; numerous cousins, and by his Best Buddy, Chase Harvey. Jacob was preceded in death by grandparents, Herbert Jr. and Helen Hild and grandmother, Mary Carolyn Jordan and by a great grandfather, Wilbur W. Hannah. Jacob was a member of Emanuel's Lutheran Church in Seguin, and attended their Day School until he entered into Vogel Elementary School. Jacob was a Star Student at Vogel Elementary School in Seguin. Jacob was an avid horseman and a member of the Appaloosa Horse Association where he won many awards in their National Youth World Show. He loved John Deere Tractors and even has his bedroom painted in John Deere Green and Orange. Jacob was a Cub Scout with PACK #524 and loved all sports, but his most loved was the Spurs! He was a very strong willed boy with a big heart. Jacob was very sharing, giving and unselfish. Every year he would donate toys not only to his church, Emanuel's Lutheran, but also to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Luling, TX for those that are less fortunate, and would send his old clothes to the Activity Center. When Jacob was born he needed to be placed in neo-natal care. He was born at 9lbs. 7oz. and compared to the others in the ward, he became known as the "Little Marine". Jacob was born on Mother's day, and was "God's Most Precious Gift From Above". A visitation will be held in the Goetz Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 5-9 PM. Additional visitation time will be Friday morning, March 19, 2010 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM in the Emanuel's Lutheran Church in Seguin. Funeral Services will begin at Emanuel's Lutheran Church on Friday, March 19, 2010 at 1:30 PM with interment to follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. The Funeral Procession should arrive at Holy Cross Cemetery around 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Emanuel's Lutheran Day School.
