Jacqueline Anne Robinette Davis was born to parents, Herbal E. Robinette of VA and Ruth Graham Robinette of N.C. at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina on September 13, 1928.
Her father was an Army man from age 15-47. The three of them traveled quite a bit as his assignments changed. They traveled by car, bus, train, plane and US government transport across two oceans.
Jacqueline was two years on bed rest, due to measles, mumps, chicken pox, and an enlarged heart. After that, she finally graduated from Munich High School, Germany. She was very proud to be an Army Brat, a tradition that goes back through the history of the US Army.
The shining star of her life has been and will always be her friend, confidant, protector and husband, Lester W. Davis for 42 years.
She longed for the day that they would be reunited.
Jacqueline leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Michael Keogh; her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Cheryl; and grandson Reagan.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., on Monday, October 27, 2025, followed by a service at 12:00 p.m., at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
