I was a senior at Rockhurst University when Jim arrived as a freshman. We worked together on the yearbook and my wife and I became friends with both Jim and Eileen. The world has lost a good person but heaven has gained one great soul.

Very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We were a Rockhurst together and had some time together here in San Antonio. Not enough. Unfortunately, I didn't get word of the funeral.

I worked with and for Jim for many years. He was a Junior Billiken from St. Louis U High like I was, we had much in common. I always enjoyed working with Jim. Sorry for your loss.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to all of you, Jim's dear children. My name is Debbie Kruciak and I met your dad several years ago when he first joined the Board of Directors of Rainbow House, a small non-profit organization that provides a home and long-term care for survivors of Traumatic Brain Injuries. Your dad was an amaziang man and we were fortunate to have him serve on our Board. Jim was truly one of God's servant and will be missed by all whose path crossed with his. I tried to reach him after your mother's death, but never did. I saw in the Obituary that he was residing in Austin. I hope his last days were without pain. I have no doubt he is with Christ and pain free. God bless you all.

I was very sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was truly a good and honorable man. Having lost my father recently, I know there is nothing I can say at this time to ease your loss but take comfort in the fact that he left the world a better place simply by having lived.
