James Mezzetti Obituary

Jim was born October 21, 1939 in San Antonio, TX, to James J Mezzetti, Sr and Emily Cannata. He was a beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather.
He graduated from Central Catholic High School and Southwest Texas University. He was a Navy Veteran and retired from Kelly Air Force Base, where he worked in computer systems. He liked fishing, traveling, and loved his family and friends. When he worked, he was most serious about his tasks, but with family and friends, he was fun loving, and clowned around with his friends, family, granddaughters and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Patrick Mezzetti and Edward Mezzetti.
He is survived by his wife of almost 61 years, Helen Maxine Cordova Mezzetti, daughters Sandra Mezzetti and Barbara Mezzetti, granddaughters Emily McFeron, Julia DeBona-Clark (Tyler) and Gianna DeBona.
FUNERAL SERVICES
Services will be Friday, April 26, 2024, Rosary at 11:00am and service at 11:30am in the Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 17502 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX.

Prayers and condolences to all of Jim's family on the loss of their loved one.
Jim was a good worker and friend when he worked nights @ Main Bank & Trust
on the night shift, I was the supervisor of the night shift crew. He was still going to school during the day. We got to interacted @ KAFB too, but not
too often. He was a good hearted person. May you Rest in Peace, Jim, in
Jesus Christ name, Amen.
