Jamie lived across the street, W. Gerald Ave., from my family home. Larry Brown, Jamie’s cousin, lived next door to Jamie and Darrel Pool lived on the other side of the Bishop’s house.
We all were a few years older than Jamie. In fact I’m the last man standing of the group mentioned. I ran into Jamie over the years at school reunions and restaurants. We always visited and remembered our earlier years in South San....a very different place today.

Jamie and I were cheerleaders way back in 1959 and I have many good memories of her. Haven't had any contact with her since high school, but was saddened to hear of her passing. She was a joy to be around...and well liked by everyone and such a jovial person to be around.
Jamie, you were too young to pass so soon, but you're in a better place now. May God be with your daughter and family.

My heartfelt condolenses to Jamie and her family and friends. She was my classmate and fellow graguate of 1959. I will cherish the last time I shared a moment with her and a few other classmates as we planned our 50th anniversary reunion.

I didn't know Jamie personally, only through my brother Maurice Ward and other students, always kind words and praise. May Jesus receive her into his loving arms. Blessed are those that keep her flame alive. Walter, Class of '56

Jamie was a little younger but she lived across the street on Gerald next to her cousin and my best friend Larry Brown. I didn't see Jamie for many years but ran into her at our 50th high school reunion held at Fort Sam Golf Club several years back. She looked great and visited with her ex, George Burrows, who also came to the reunion. They got along wonderfully and died within a month of each other. Two great people and friends that left us too soon. I ask God's blessings upon the family Jamie leaves behind. She will be fondly remembered.

So glad I knew Jamie at dear old South San. She was so popular; a real leader; a delightful, fun person.
