JANIE BENNETT Obituary
Janie Ann Bennett was born the fifth of twelve children on February 4, 1928 in Wetmore, Texas to the union of Albert and Louise (Griffin) Winters. Her birth name of Ella Jane Winters would later be replaced by 'Janie', as this is what everyone customarily referred to her as; therefore, she changed it for accommodational purposes.
In 1965, she married the love of her life, Floyd Bennett Sr. and from this union, one daughter Greta Lagail Bennett was born. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, brother; Daniel C. Winters, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be as follow: Visitation- Tuesday June 8, 2021 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Lewis Funeral Home, 811 S. W.W. White Road
Funeral – Wednesday June 9, 2021, 11 am at Greater Corinth Baptist church, 500 S. New Braunfels, San Antonio, TX.
