Javier 'Omar' Lopez passed away on November 21, 2023.
Beloved Husband, son, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, teacher AND coach left this earthly life on November 21, 2023. Omar was loved by many and touched the lives of all who knew him for the better. He loved the New Braunfels community and they in turn adopted him as their son.
You could not eat, shop, or drink without people of all ages stopping him to say hello.
He is survived by his wife of over 15 years, Marisela Aguirre Lopez, his children, Jacob and Joslin Lopez, his parents, Linda C. Lopez and Henry Lopez Jr., his brothers Gabriel and Misha Lopez, the Aguirre, Cobarruvias, and Lopez Families and many friends, students and athletes in the community.
A Public Visitation will be held Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Zoeller Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Monday, November 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, followed by a graveside service at Comal Cemetery.
