I found about Jeff on Facebook. I lost contact with Jeff and Mark since we attended John Jay in the late 1980's. I called some friends and they confirmed of Jeff passing away. My prayers and condolences are with the Almendarez family.

My condolences to the family. Jeff was my first true best friend in middle school and first years of high school.I would pass by your house to see if someone was outside to ask about him .I passed by Tuesday before thanksgiving. Only to find out he passed the Saturday before I regret not ever knocking on the door all the times I went bye. Even though it's been 30.years since we hung out he will always be one of my best friends and great memories.
