When I started College, Jeff Rose was my employer for some time but soon enough became a friend as well who I have fond memories and great affection for. I became a nurse and remember his encouragement. I will miss him very much.

Langston and Cindy Garcia will miss you here on earth Dr. Rose. We know you are in heaven and we will see on again one day. You and Scotty were the only one's who could handle Langston when it came to those shots. I will be praying for Rose Family. God Bless you all. Jesus is Lord.

Dr. Rose thank you for the wonderful care you gave our 4-legged kids. Every time we pulled into the clinic parking lot they would go nuts with happiness at being able to visit you again and then drag us up the stairs! All five of us will miss you - Leo, Sonora, Max, Molly and Buddy.

A wonderful neighbor and friend, we're forever thankful for Doc saving the life of our dog Fluffy. The happiness, passion for his work, and love for his family he possessed brought light to day.
The Rose Family, you have our condolences. We hope you find strength and fortitude in the marvelous memories you've created, as well as transform all the pain that accompanies this, into the light of hope.

I just want to say how much I will miss "Doc" and how much he made a difference to me and my furry kids. He was a truly gifted vet; one with compassion and love who was a talented surgeon and diagnostician. He was there during my kid's worst times and best for seventeen years. He spoke often about his family and it was clear to me that they were the most important thing in his life. My sincere condolences to the Rose family. There is now a great vet in heaven and I am so grateful for the time that we shared with him here on earth.

Dr.Rose was such a great guy, he was so funny! Doc always came into work singing or humming and his good moods were contagious.I will miss his sense of humor and the happy dance he would do when breakfast tacos would arrive.Doc-You were one of a kind and you will truly be missed.

Condolences to the Rose family for the loss of Dr. Rose. Dr. Rose had a way of not only putting his patients at ease, but the owners as well. His "bedside manner" and compassion will be missed. Several years ago my elderly mother was devastated when her beloved "Duke" was stolen from her front lawn. We passed out flyers and offered a reward for his safe return. Weeks passed without a word about Duke. Finally we received a call from Dr. Rose who informed us someone had called his office describing a dog found in his neighborhood. Based on the description given over the phone Dr. Rose immediatley knew it was Duke. He helped arrange the safe return of Duke to my mother. Our family will forever be grateful to Dr. Rose. May he rest in peace.

Condolences to the entire Rose family and Dr. Rose's staff at City Vet. I met him when Dr. Hickey passed away and Dr. Rose became the downtown veterinarian. There has to be something said for a person who understood 'need' over money. Thank you, Dr. Rose for taking a chance on the inner city. You became their rock. Dr. Rose will be greatly missed by so very many. May he rest in peace.
