Jesse Uresti Obituary

Jesse W. Uresti, Hispanic entrepreneur and founder of Uresti Camper Sales, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at his home in San Antonio. He and his wife, Susie, created three successful businesses in Ft. Worth and San Antonio; The Tortilla Factory, Duncan Cafeteria and Uresti Camper Sales. Jesse remained active in business until his retirement in 1988. Jesse W. Uresti was born in San Antonio on February 10, 1928. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Susie G. Uresti. Also survivors include his children, Susan and husband William M. Tam, Camille and husband Eric C. Gibson, Jesse Jr. and wife Mary Uresti, Terry and husband Eric Botkin, Isaac and wife Maureen Uresti; grandchildren include Billy Tam, Corey and Chad Armstrong, Isaac Gibson, Naomi, Katy and Patrick Uresti, Tara Winter, Keaton and Jordan Uresti; two brothers Andrew and Oscar Uresti, and two sisters Lupe Rodriguez and Theresa Sorola. He is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Uresti; mother, Dolores Spencer Weaver Uresti and brothers Joe and Rene. Jesse's love for his family gave meaning to his life. He lived each day of his life to take care of his wife and family. SERVICES A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday, April 28, 2006 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM. A church service will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at St. Brigid's Catholic Church with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park North.
