Jim Bisang Obituary
Jim Albert Bisang, 84, entered the gates of Heaven on May 27, 2017 after a lengthy battle with Alzeheimer's Disease. He was born February 13, 1933 to Sylvan and Dorothy Bisang.
Jim is survived by his his wife of 33 years, Barbara Bisang; sister, Gerladine Hutcheson; his sons Kevin (Jennifer L), Todd (Jennifer D); Daughter, Pamela Bisang (Dennis Griffith) Step-sons; Kenneth Thompkins, Keith Thompkins and eight grandchildren: Cameron Forester, Cody Bisang, Taylor Forester, Madison Bisang, Max Bisang, Danielle Thompkins, Tyler Thompkins, and Shane Thompkins. Jim was a member of Cornerstone Church for over 30 years and spread the love of Jesus every chance he was given. He will always be remembered for his comedic antics and kind heart at every social event as well as everyday life. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 16, 2017 at 10:00am in the Veda Hagee Chapel at Cornerstone Church on Stone Oak Parkway in San Antonio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Encompass Hospice, 14800 San Pedro #216, San Antonio, TX 78233 or to any charity that reminds you of Jim.

I will always remember the fun we had...you, Rabbi Rick, Larry & I...and our wives and our motorcycles! Life was good and God took great care of us! We'll share that bond again someday. In the meantime, entertain the angels like nobody but you can do! Love you and miss you! John Durham

Jimmy lived down the street from me on Culebra Ave. We had so much fun when we were young. There are so many fond memories, one that comes to mind is we went to the park to play touch football, however, Jimmy didn't believe in touch football so we had to play tackle football, and tackle he did.
My prayers and thought are with the family.
