My Prayers to the Sauer Family.

I had the priviledge of being an older student in many of Dr. Sauer's Theology graduate classes. He always treated his students with a special caring as if we were his own children. The greatest of my memories was his ability to make a student think not only as an academic learner, but as a member of God's family. Dr. Jim wanted us to know, to reflect and to do with a passion of Christ's love for all. As a long distance student from Austin, Texas, Dr. Jim's teachings will always remain with me. Blessings to the family and friends who were close to Dr. Jim and received his most precious love.

Blessings to the Sauer Family.

My deepest sympathies to the family of James Sauer. Dr. Sauer was a professor of mine at St. Mary's University, as he taught my Honors Philosophy course this past fall semester. His radiance and true concern for each of us went above and beyond what any professor - or person - has ever done for me. For his sense of humor, thoughtfulness, and for teaching me about what is most important in life, he holds a special place in my heart. I can assure you that the thoughts and prayers of our class are with you.
