My Prayers to the Sauer Family.

I had the priviledge of being an older student in many of Dr. Sauer's Theology graduate classes. He always treated his students with a special caring as if we were his own children. The greatest of my memories was his ability to make a student think not only as an academic learner, but as a member of God's family. Dr. Jim wanted us to know, to reflect and to do with a passion of Christ's love for all. As a long distance student from Austin, Texas,...

Vic and I and our family would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Sue in the loss of her dear husband and to her sons in the loss of their father. Keeping you in our prayers at this difficult time.....

I have such fond and treasured memories of "big" Jim from those long ago days at St.D/St.M---who else but Jim could leave such a legacy of humour, fellowship, friendship and other ships!!!He was a great man and outstanding Minister.Go with God as you deserve Jim.Sympathies to Sue and the boys.

My deepest sympathy is extended to Sue, Joe, Chris and Noel. Jim was a wonderful man and I truly enjoyed the five years I worked closely with him. He was a man of integrity and this extended to his every day life. He taught me so much. I will miss him

We have so many wonderful cherished memories of the time we had to-gether at St.D and St.M. Deeply saddened to hear this news. To Sue and the boys go our thoughts and prayers. May God comfort you at this challenging time.

We are sorry to hear of Jim's passing and our deepest sympathy goes out to Sue and the family. We have fond memories of the Sauer's stay at St. David & St. Martin Presbyterian Church.

Jim Sauer is fondly remembered by myself and my family, and the members of the congregation of St. David and St. Martin Presbyterian church, Ottawa who knew him. Condolences to Sue and the family.

My deepest sympathies to the family of James Sauer. Dr. Sauer was a professor of mine at St. Mary's University, as he taught my Honors Philosophy course this past fall semester. His radiance and true concern for each of us went above and beyond what any professor - or person - has ever done for me. For his sense of humor, thoughtfulness, and for teaching me about what is most important in life, he holds a special place in my heart. I can assure you that the thoughts and prayers of our class...
