Joe will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and a faithful friend. He was a true patriot who served his country honorably and with distinction, and we thank him for his years of service. The great joy of his life was to share his faith and his love for the Lord. We are so grateful to have known him and to call him "friend". To Nina, Melissa, and Buck, and all of his family, we pray that God's Grace continue to bless you and surround you with His comfort. Joe has been "carried on the Wings of Angels to his Heavenly Home" Our condolences and love, Richard, Bonnie, Denise, and Duane.

My dear Joe, blow that trumpet as loud as you wish now because in Heaven, where you are, it is in perfect pitch. You are no longer tone deaf but hearing the hallelujahs of heaven in perfect harmony - more profoundly than the dynamic sounds of the Aggie Band! - filling your heart with indescribable JOY!
What an honor and privilege it was to know you - and that was only from the surface, for all that your life has meant to the world over your 87 years was unknown to us before reading this beautiful obituary. You truly lived out God's purpose in every aspect of your life and with humility. The world has been deeply enriched because of Joe Guinn. Until we meet again, may we, too, press on for the good of others and for God.

Wow!! I did not know this man, but what a wonderful life he lived! Such an ambassador for the Lord. I just say...a life well lived. He is rejoicing with the Lord now!
