Today is my daddy birthday
in Heaven 02/18/2010

Daddy,

A lot of things come to mind when I think of a birthday celebration;
things like cake, candles, balloons, a party with many loved ones around you
today is your special birthday. Knowing you, you are probably enjoying a huge slice of cake! I am so sad that you are not here. I now know what a broken heart feels like and my life will never be the same without you. we are so lucky to have had you in my life. Until we are together again. I know this is just my temporary home.

I LOVE YOU

Your Daughter Liz
Happy Birthday

December 24, 2009

You were so full of life,
Always smiling and carefree,
Life loved you being a part of it, And I loved you being a part of me. You could make anyone laugh, If they were having a bad day, No matter how sad I was, You could take the hurt away. Nothing could every stop you, Or even make you fall,You were ready to take on the world, Ready to do it all. But God decided he needed you,So from this world you left, But you took a piece of all of us, Our hearts are what you kept. Your seat is now empty, And it's hard not to see your face, But please always know this, No one will ever take your place. You left without a warning, Not even saying good-bye, And I can't seem to stop, Asking the question why? Nothing will ever be the same, The halls are empty without your laughter, But I know you're in Heaven, Watching over us and looking after. I didn't see this coming, It hit me by surprise, And when you left this world, A small part of me died. Your smile could righten anyone's day, No matter what they were going through,And I know everyday for the rest of my life, I'll be missing you.
Gone but Not Forgotten
Love You Daddy

Love you Daddy

December 24, 2009

I know you're around us right now on Christmas Eve, but I wish that I could see you Grandpa, to hug you one more time. I'll never forget the all the years, holidays, or especially the countless times I spent hanging out in your liquor store when I was young. I remember when you told me my first lotto ticket (at age 7) was worth 3K. Whenever I think back to that it makes me smile. Thanks for the family trip to Coushatta; I wish you, me and my dad had had more chances to hang out togeher, just the three of us. I really miss you Grandpa.

My Daddy,My Best Friend
Daddy it's hard to believe that it's my 2nd father's day with out you
just wanted to let you know there is not a day I do not think about you I know you can see the pain inside my heart. But I know you are not far away, and we really aren't apart
You were always there for me...with answers when I barely knew the questions, and with questions when I thought I knew all the answers. Your wisdom still inspires me every day. You will always be my hero, You're everything a hero should be a father listens with his heart, speaks with hugs and he is brave, strong, caring. The gifts you've given me have shaped my life and made me the person I am today. From the things I value to the things that make me laugh, I can see you in them all. In my thoughts, in my heart, in every part of my life... you are always with me, Dad, and always will be.

Happy Father's Day!

Words cannot express the sense of loss i feel since uncle joe passed on last year. Weather it was calling me shorty or bringing us pan dulce on weekends or taking nathan fishing his wit and humor was allways thoughtful and funny. May he rest in peace and will allways be in my prayers.

We,the Teodoro Torres family grieve with you all. Me-Cecilia can say that Joe our oldest brother was a stronghold in the lives of our parents Jesus and Cecilia Palcios. I thank God for his love and will join him acourding to God's law. Be strong. He was always joking that "I don't and I don't care." but whether he was fishing or working he was always friendley, loving, giving, cheerful, and always there for others. Ever so concerned for our family- Brother,Jesse,Margaret,Linda and me his love was equally great for his wife and his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Richerd his shadow and love of his life always keeping watch for him. i understand how he felt since we have a blind granddaughter Betina.Joe also loved Betina very much. He enjoyed life and we will miss him for that. Inez was so patient and strong and they were there for each other. Thier family filled his life with love and joy. He left in a very peaceful and happy surrounding with his family. We miss him and I know his family really misses him too. He will always be in our prayer. Teodoro M.and Cecilia P. Daddy it's hard to believe that it has been 1 year that you left us. As time goes by we miss you more, your loving smile, your gentle face. No one can fill your vacant place. A million times we've cried. If love alone would have saved you, you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly in death we love you still. We miss you more each day. Thank you for being the best father to all of us because of you we are now the person that we are very stong well and a loving family that stay together thru good and bad times. You are and will always be our "HERO" I would like to share this to help me understand why?
Little I knew that morning April 12, 2008 God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,
for part of me went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

love you always,
your number one daughter

To Aunt Inez,Chicks,David and Rosie, and Family, Richard, and Elizabeth. After viewing the beautiful film tribute that was made to honor your father Joe ,and the Palacios Family,I could see the Great Love, Joy, and Laughter, that Joe brought into each one of his familys life. He touched everyones life with his beautiful Humility ,his Humor, and his simplicity when looking at life .He left us too quickly, leaving us with such a big void in our heart,s I feel such an emptiness inside of me. I can not even imagin how empty you all must fill. My prayers will always be with you. I pray that god will guide you with his light. I pray that god holds you in his hands and carries you to a safe place , during these trying times,Remember only time heals pain. and empties can be filled up again with love ,and making new memories . Love You ALL (patsy)

Our sincere sympathies to the Palacios Family. We knew Joe (Chino) when he had his business on Bandera Rd. He would call my brother, "Big Money" and my father would stop to say hello when he walked the area. My husband & I and my parents went on the charter trip he had going to Tunica. Joe was a jolly guy and told jokes often. He will truly be missed by many.
