John was always a great help to me at "Doctor Is In" at Alamo PC. I will miss his jokes and light hearted manner with everyone there. When he announced that he would no longer be working the front desk a few weeks ago, I urged him to stay. At least we got to say our goodbyes then. We'll miss you John.

John was an enthusiast in everything he did. He will be deeply missed, but his life brought light to all those who met him, so his memory will always glow in our hearts and minds.

Our condolences to John's family. We've known and played the pipes with John for many years. He always had a way of making us smile. He will be missed.

A good man gone; to drone no more...
May God enjoy his company.

To the family of John W. Gould:
I offer my condolences on the death of John W. Gould. I read in the Express-News that he was a United States Navy veteran. As Chair of the Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs and Military Installations, I deeply appreciate the military service he provided for our great nation. In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
