ALFARO
Mr. Jose Antonio Alfaro Jr., born in Dilley, TX on September 19, 1932 went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2010 at the age of 77 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Jose A, and Felicitas Alfaro Sr., brothers and sisters-in-law, Francisco, Jose Antonio, Miguel and wife Amelia and Victor R. and wife Celia Alfaro, and sister, Socorro Alfaro. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carmen 0. Alfaro, sons and daughters-in-law: Jose A. (Jo Jo) Alfaro III, Carlos M. and Lisa Alfaro and Marco A. and Laura Alfaro, grandchildren: Andrew J. (A.J.) Alfaro, Julianna R. (Ju Ju) Alfaro and Kahn Alfaro, brothers and sisters: Catalina A. Silva, Manuel (Cristela), Jesus S. (Isabel), Leopoldo (Pauline), Soledad A. (Alejandro) Munoz, Guillermo (Celia), Gilberto F. (Irene) Alfaro and Felicitas Alfaro. Mr. Alfaro was founder of the ALFA Ambulance Service, past president of the Ortiz Mortuary Inc., Sociedad De La Union, and Northwest Side Lions Club. He was co-founder of Peregrinos En Accion in 1995, a member of the Third Order of St. Dominic and member of the Fox-Tech Ex-Students Assn. He was a U.S.A.F. veteran of the Korean War. Visitation will begin on Monday, May 17, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ortiz Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at St. Dominic's Catholic Church, 5919 Ingram Rd. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Dominic's Catholic Church with Rev. Eric Ritter, Rev. Kevin Fausz, C.M. and Fray Roberto Viveros OFM Cap, and Rev. Martin Moreno presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Texas Lions Camp, P.O. Box 290247, Kerrville, TX 78029. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery # 2. "To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die." ARRANGEMENTS WITH:
