Jose Chavez Obituary
On the glorious day of April 12, 2014, the Lord called home his beloved son Jose (Joe) Manuel Chavez, at the age of 62. The angels greeted him in his home while surrounded by his family and friends. While still in our presence Joe loved fishing, watching the Cowboys, the Spurs and spending time with his family and friends. Joe is survived by his wife of 38 years Mary Ann, their three kids; Nancy Keller (Dean), Daniel Chavez (Darlene), and Joe Chavez Jr. (Isabel). He celebrated his life with his 9 wonderful grandchildren: Ida, Bryson, Joe III, Katlyn, Danielle, Aliza, Israel, Noah, Jeremiah, as well as 4 step-grandkids. Joe is also survived by his father, 4 brothers and a sister, and is welcomed into heaven by his mother and a brother. The family would like to give special thanks to Optum Hospice for their wonderful care and support.
SERVICES
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Brookehill Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Brookehill Funeral Home. All services conclude in chapel. You may sign the on-line guest book at www.missionparks.com under the obituary section.
