Joseph Arciniega Obituary

ARCINIEGA
Joseph "Little Joe" Benavides Arciniega went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2011. He was born on July 11,1950, in Saginaw, MI. He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Arciniega; mother, Maria Tina Garcia; and brother, Jesse Mike Arciniega. Joseph is survived by his wife and the love of his life of 42 years, Yolanda Reza Arciniega; 4 children, Dora A.Ruiz (Javier), Debra A. Chavarria (Armando), Joseph Arciniega Jr. (Melinda Torres), Jesse Mike Arciniega (Leticia) Perez; 8 Grandchildren, Justin, Kristin Amanda, Zachary Xavier, Kelsey, Kalista, Skylah Chastity, Aiden and Kylie; 6 sisters; 4 brothers; many cousins and numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph had a love for life like no other. He had many friends and always made new ones every where he went. His sense of humor and personality was irresistable and drew people in. He would do anything for anyone. Joseph was a food critic in his own way. Always trying different mexican restaurants and critiquing them, but he sure knew where to get the best enchiladas, tortillas, pan de dulce; He was a hard working man that mastered his skill as a pool technican for 42 years. Joseph had a love for music, with Tejano and oldies being his favorites. Often after a hard day of work he would sit in his back room and listen to his music for relaxation. Joseph was a man of integrity who loved his wife, family & friends. A simple man who appreciated the simple things in life. We love you, Joseph, and you will truly be missed. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2011, for a 10 a.m. Mass of Chirstian Burial at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 1730 Dahlgreen. my love and blessings go out to the Arciniega family, i had the pleasure of getting to know the family for 2yrs and know that they are the epitome of what a family is. that is due to the greatness of what Mr Arciniega has shown and raised his kids to display. there is a loss but also a gain that can be passed down to his kids and grandkids and that is the love and kindness and family values that he gave. my condolences.

Dear Debbie & Family,
What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your Father.
