Juan Silva Obituary
Johnny Silva, cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, uncle, and brother, went home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday August 2, 2015 at the age of 77. He was born in Atascosa, TX on March 27, 1938 to Hilario and Maria (Camacho) Silva. He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law Fidel and mother-in-law Concepcion Herrera, sister Emilia (Segura), sister-in-laws Joan and Melba (Silva); daughter Therese Anamarie Silva Hale. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Concha (Herrera) Silva; daughter Evelyn and husband Mark Salisbury, Stella Silva, Monica Silva; sons Henry and wife Melinda (Jolly) Silva and James Silva; grandchildren Joshua, Kristen, Nathanial, and Jared (Hale), Marcus, Kaitlyn, and Jonathan (Salisbury), Amanda (Silva), Michael Henry (Silva)Toliver, Evan and Lily (Silva), Avante and Christian (Silva); great grandchildren, Ezekial and Ariana (Williams); brothers Jimmy (Josie), Hilario, Felipe and Maria (Silva); brother-in-laws Johnny Segura, George, Carlos (Angie), Gilbert (Rosemary) Herrera and numerous nieces and nephews. Papo we were blessed to have you in our lives. We will miss your humor and laughter, see you in heaven. Johnny valued education and his consistent message was "give your life to Jesus, invite him to be your personal Lord and Savior". Visitation is Sunday August 9th from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm with Chapel Service at 6:00 pm at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels on 14315 Judson Rd. 78233 along with a short service on Monday 12:00 noon at Puente's followed by a 1:15 honors ceremony at Ft. Sam Houston. Johnny's family would like to thank Dr. Gerald Koppes and his office staff (Nancy and Leann) for years of kindness, compassion, encouragement and hope. Thanks also to staff at Stone Oak Methodist Hospital, Select Cardiac Rehab and Methodist Hospital Medical Center.

My deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy goes out to you Mrs Concha Silva. Juan worked with us on many items to support the B-52 Aircraft and other projects. Juan was one of the guys in "Back Shop" Planning that would always be there when we had any kind of support request. He will be missed by many former co-workers, friends and family.
