Julia Gutierrez, 88 years old, of San Antonio, passed away on September 2, 2024.
Julia was born on July 14, 1936, to Aurelio & Juanita Rodriguez in San Antonio. After Julia graduated from Fox Tech in 1957.
In 1957, Julia met Ray Sr. Julia and Ray Sr went on to have 6 children, Belinda, Leticia, Ray Jr, Mercy, Richard, and Leo.
Julia was a full-time wife and mother who spent her time with her children, taking them to events such as sports, band, and dancing classes. She also dedicated her time to sewing outfits for two majorettes and making Folklorico dresses. She loved gardening and enjoyed dancing and listening to Latino music. Her most generous gift was giving all her time and energy to our family. Julia had a very strong faith and the ability to overcome the hardest situations since she was very young.
SERVICES:
Visitation: Friday, September 13, 2024, 4:00 - 8:00 pm with a Rosary: 6:00 pm at Brookehill Funeral Home.
