Kenneth Raabe Obituary

Kenneth Arthur Raabe, lifelong resident of the Three Oaks Community, Wilson County, Texas, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at the age of 79. Kenneth is the son of the late Otto William Raabe and Rose Agnes Winkler Raabe. He was a member of the V.F.W., Post 8555, and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was especially proud that all six of his sons graduated from Texas A&M University. Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Evelyn Koether Raabe; sons, Paul Raabe and wife Pam, Steven Raabe and wife Mary, Kevin Raabe and wife Rebecca, Brian Raabe and wife Lilia, Curt Raabe and wife Julia, and John Raabe and wife Tammy; 16 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, William Floyd Raabe, Thomas Howard Raabe, George Raabe, David Raabe; and sisters, Irene Hons and the late Barbara Raabe. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:30 P.M. Friday, August 4, 2006, in the Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel, Poth, Texas, and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday, in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Poth, Texas. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 P.M. Friday, August 4, 2006, in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Poth, Texas. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 5, 2006, in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Poth, Texas, followed by interment in the Blessed Sacrament Cemetery, Poth, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Three Oaks Volunteer Fire Department, 13476 FM 2505, McCoy, Texas, 78113; or a charity of choice. VINYARD FUNERAL HOME Poth, TX 78114 (866) 393-2588
