I think of Kim often and thank God for bringing into my life as a roommate at Concordia in 1968 , as a dear friend in Jesus, as the best man at my wedding to Ramona, and as a fellow pastor. We rejoice in the power of the resurrection and await our reunion in our homeland above.

I think of Kim often and I am so thankful he was a part of my life as my college roommate, best man at my wedding, and dear brother in Christ. I learned so many things from Kim and I actually speak of him frequently in my work as an example and model to me. I will be thrilled to join him one day in the Lord's Kingdom of Glory. Praise be to Him.

Hard to imagine that its been 6 years since Kim passed. I still can hear his voice as if it were yesterday. Kim and I met in Houston and were both in the ministry, though I subsequently chose another path in life. We stayed in touch largely because of Kim's efforts. We shared our lives and supported one another. As a pastor, making close friends in our congregations is not wise, but no man is an island, though I think Kim was one of the most selfless people I have every known. He put everyone else first and I worried through the years that he was carrying a heavy, heavy burden. Most people seem to expect a pastor to be super-human and in the eyes of others, a pastor has to be flawless. We know that's impossible but Kim set lofty goals for himself. I so miss our deep conversations and frankly I'm angry that his time on Earth was cut short. Maybe in the eyes of God, his mission was finished, but doesn't mean people like me are ready to accept that. Thank you Kim for all you have done.
